| "Ties" Electronic Mailing List |
||
| The creation of this mailing list is motivated by the "Ties That Bind"
Japanese American Community Conference in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, April 3-5, 1998.
As a communication medium, electronic mail can also be used as a "tie"
in cyberspace to network the Japanese American community. To subscribe to this mailing list, send an e-mail message to majordomo@lists.apanet.org and include the following line in your message: subscribe ties or if your e-mail address is "different" from the one you're using now, please use the following line instead: subscribe ties <your e-mail address> An example for the e-mail address <kenji@aol.com> is: subscribe ties kenji@aol.com Once you send in your subscription request, an automated e-mail message should be returned from "majordomo" to your e-mail address asking you to confirm your membership to the list. Once you send in the confirmation, you'll be added to the list. As a member of this mailing list, any email that is posted to "ties@lists.apanet.org" will be shared with everyone on the list. This list is open to anyone, and the postings are unmoderated, so feel free to post anything that relevant and of interest to the Japanese American community. And finally, please use your best judgement that any posted material is appropriate for this mailing list -- thanks! "Ties" Mailing List Admininstrator |
